The solution is the 808 diode laser - it is the latest technology of Polish production, which, thanks to the use of the appropriate wavelength, allows for permanent hair removal after just a few treatments.
The device emits a laser beam that penetrates the skin and is absorbed by the hair pigment, causing the hair follicle stem cells to heat up and dry out. The temperature gradually increases with each pass and multiple pulses, damaging the hair follicle and deactivating it.
Additionally, given the possibility of working in the "triple wavelength" version, the device allows (using the same applicator) to work on all wavelengths, which ensures even greater effectiveness on very thin and light hair, as well as on darker skin phototypes, without the risk of burns.
The laser's action is based on the phenomenon of selective photothermolysis. The laser light is absorbed by a specific wavelength of 808 nm and a specific chromophore (photoacceptor), in this case melanin, a pigment found in the hair follicle and melanocytes of the epidermis. The energy selectively absorbed by melanin leads to damage of the hair structures, which are responsible for its nourishment and growth. The consequence of this process is the loss and destruction of the follicle. This phenomenon is most effective for dark hair, which is in the active growth phase.
The hair growth cycle consists of three phases:
The first phase – Anagen , is a period of intensive hair growth.
Phase Two – Catagen follows anagen. This is the period when the hair goes into a resting state. During catagen, the hair bulb dies.
The third phase – Telogen is the final phase in which the hair is prepared to fall out. With the end of the telogen phase, the hair follicle re-enters the anagen phase and the whole cycle begins again.
