Medika Thermcell

Closing the vessels by thermolysis

Medika Thermcell thermolysis

Vascular complexion is a problem that affects many people - it is characterized by red spots on the skin. These include, among others: "spider veins" around the nose or reddening of the cheeks that come on suddenly. In aesthetic medicine, more and more treatments are performed to close dilated capillaries - thanks to the latest technology, this method is more and more effective. Treatments on vascular skin are currently one of the most popular treatments performed in aesthetic medicine offices.

What are extended vessels really?
Telangiectasias (cuperosa)

Permanently dilated small blood vessels can include all arterioles, veins, and capillaries under the skin. There are primary (spontaneous) and secondary telangiectasias.

Venectasia

Dilated small veins occurring mainly on the lower limbs (thighs, ankles, metatarsus), which turn bluish in color.

Primary telangiectasia

They are most often associated with congenital syndromes or occurring in certain periods of life, e.g. during pregnancy or in the elderly.

Secondary telangiectasia

They are the result of external factors (wind, temperature fluctuations, sun exposure), systemic diseases (hypertension) or skin diseases (rosacea).

Blood vessels on the skin
  • The most common facial vascular changes:

  • Star hemangioma - "spider"
  • Telangiectasia - thread vessels
  • Rosacea, erythema
  • Ruby points

Operation of thermolysis when closing the vessels:

Thermcell works on the principle of thermolysis. Thermolysis is literally the breakdown of a chemical compound when exposed to elevated temperatures. This method is perfect for leveling dilated capillaries. The flow of high-frequency current through the capillary coagulates hemoglobin and permanently destroys the capillary. This method is quick, bloodless, little painful and most importantly - very effective.

Information

Individual hairs, fibromas and warts can also be removed by thermolysis.

Three treatment programs

The ThermCell device works in three treatment modes: electrolysis, thermolysis and blending. In each of the modes, the parameters are set individually depending on the needs. This method is fast, bloodless, little painful and most importantly very effective.

1 Medika thermcell - thermolysis

Termoliza

A treatment that uses high-frequency, low-intensity alternating current. Thermolysis is literally the breakdown of a chemical compound when exposed to elevated temperatures. This method is perfect for leveling dilated capillaries.

2 Medika thermcell - electrolysis

Electrolysis

Treatment using direct current (galvanic) in this process changes the chemical structure of the substance, which occurs under the influence of external electric voltage applied to it. Electrolysis causes protein shearing in the tissues, which translates into a therapeutic effect.

3 Medika thermcell - blend

Blend

A method that uses both direct and alternating current.

Presentation of ThermCell Medika device operation

The treatment process is extremely simple - from the level of the intuitive menu on the display, you can select the operating mode (thermolysis, electrolysis, blend) and the appropriate operating parameters.

See ThermCell presentation:

How to perform the procedure?
1

Before starting the procedure, a health questionnaire should be performed with the patient, informing about possible treatment effects and complications. Make sure that the skin is not overly tanned, and the patient is not taking NSAID painkillers (ibuprofren, ketanol, naproxen). Anesthetics or retinols should not be used during the procedure.

2

In order to prepare the device, connect the power supply, the passive electrode (rubber paddle), the foot switch, the treatment head and the ballet needle.

3

The skin should be thoroughly cleaned before the procedure.

4

The treatment site should be disinfected before starting work.

5

We turn on the device and select the treatment program (thermolysis / electrolysis / blend)

6

The length of the procedure depends on the number of lesions and lasts from several to several dozen minutes. We do not puncture the skin with a needle - we work on the surface.
