Microdermabrasion has been one of the most popular treatments performed in beauty salons for several years. It is popular among many clients thanks to thorough cleansing, exfoliation and correction of skin imperfections. Divino offers the necessary professional multifunctional equipment with the use of Medika microdermabrasion in cosmetology and aesthetic medicine offices.

Microdermabrasion - it is a type of mechanical, controlled, superficial exfoliation of the epidermis. It involves the removal (abrasion) of the stratum corneum using a special device.

The intensity and depth of exfoliation depends on the number of movements made in one place, the parameters of the device - suction power (vacum) and crystal ejection force. The effects of diamond microdermabrasion also depend on the duration of the treatment, the applied pressure and the type of movements (long, slow ones exfoliate more strongly than short and fast ones. Treatments are performed in series - the intervals between treatments depend on the type of skin and the effect we intend to achieve.

Diamond tips

The microdermabrasion treatment uses diamond tips, which are available in various sizes and gradations. The most popular gradations are: 75, 100, 120, 150, 180, 200, 250. Microdermabrasion tips are usually universal - they fit most devices available on the market.

Step by step microdermabrasion treatment

The microdermabrasion treatment process is completely safe and gentle - the use of such a treatment once for a longer period of time does not significantly affect skin irritation. Depending on the type of procedure performed, its process is carried out in a different way:

Diamond microdermabrasion is a treatment that is performed using a special diamond head - the thickness of the grains depends on the part of the body that is subjected to cleansing. It is one of the more delicate forms of microdermabrasion, which is why it is especially recommended for people with sensitive skin and prone to irritation.

Corundum microdermabrasion is characterized by stronger force than the diamond version - in this case a specialized head is also used, but it is made of corundum or clay.

Oxybrasion - the most delicate form of treatment - instead of full equipment with crystals, oxygen and saline are used. Due to the greatest delicacy of the procedure, oxybrasion is recommended for people suffering from excessive seborrhea (irritated and dry skin secretes much more of it) and those struggling with skin inflammation.

Use of microdermabrasion:

  • before treatments with active substances
  • skin regeneration
  • color alignment
  • stimulation of skin circulation
  • removal of calluses and discolorations
  • stimulation of fibroblasts to produce collagen
  • smooth skin
  • flexible skin
  • shallow scars
  • reduction of stretch marks and impurities

Microdermabrasion device

Microdermabrasion as one of the most basic treatments is available in most beauty salons.

At Divino, we offer specialized devices for microdermabrasion - micropeeling equipment is equipped with a specialized diamond head with crystals. The microdermabrasion apparatus also has a tip with a vacuum system, thanks to which the used crystals together with the epidermis go to the inside of the machine.
